## What does employment cost above salary?

Labour Act section 54 provides six weeks before expected childbirth on medical certification and six weeks after childbirth, with at least half wages where the worker has at least six months’ continuous service. Section 91 excludes administrative, executive, technical and professional functions from its worker definition.
